Definition: (formal) to unwillingly agree to do what someone wants, or to let them do what they want, without arguing or complaining.

他们默然同意该决定。
They acquiesced to the demand.
他们默认了那项要求。
Acquiesce 指不太热心地同意或迫于外界压力而同意。它是一个不及物动词，其后通常接to 或in.，不过一些语法学家认为acquiesce to 的搭配现已过时，所以其后接in的搭配更常用些。Acquiescence 是它的名词形式。
