Ever since early this century, electricity has become an essential part of our modern life. Almost all the activities of human beings depend on electricity. For example, we need electricity to run our machines. We need electricity to light our lamps and to heat our houses. We need electricity to cook our meals. Even a lot of entertainment such as TV, tape recorder and fi[ms need electricity. We will not hesitate to say that the development of our society depends entirely on electricity.
If there were no electric power, the world would be a different one. First of all, almost all the machines had to stop running. As a result, we had to use our hands to produce goods.
