Alicia key to sing in China
 9月25日，作为“希望之城”2004世界巨星长城演唱会的明星主角，六次获得葛莱美提名的音乐才女艾莉西亚·凯斯将在居庸关长城脚下献唱。此次演唱会是中美双方携手共同投资的国际公益项目；是宣传2008年北京奥运的一项重大的国际文化交流活动。演出收入将捐给中国儿童少年基金会。

The six-time Grammy nominee Alicia Keys will appear in the "Wall of
Hope" concert along with an incredible cast at the Juyongguan section of
the Great Wall on September 25, reported CRIENGLISH.com.
The 23-year old American singer will headline the concert with ticket prices
ranging from 100 yuan to 380 yuan, or from US$12 to US$46, and VIP boxes costing
10,000 yuan, about US$1,208, per person.
Some 5,500 including 1,000 VIPs are expected to pack the event with benefits
being donated to the China Youth Development Foundation.
The event will commemorate the 20th anniversary of China's Great Wall
restoration project.
The concert is the first in a series of benefit(义演)
events planned for China's key metros(metropolitan 大都市), Beijing, Shanghai and
Guangzhou - a programme that will run up to the 2008 Olympics.
