在英国即将播放的电视访谈节目中，英国女王的次子安德鲁王子将向观众讲述，他如何在一个既是母亲又是一国之君的女人的身边长大的故事。
In a television interview screened on Friday Andrew described life growing up with a woman who is both his mother and the Monarch.

The Duke revealed details of family life during his childhood when he would rollerblade in state apartments, race in miniature cars with his brother Prince Edward and watch the BBC show Dr Who with the Queen. During the interview, screened on Sky News at 9pm, Andrew showed the broadcaster‘s royal correspondent Katharine Witty around the parts of Windsor Castle where the Royal family lived when he was boy. The Duke said: "The Queen is a great mother and a great parent, and so too is the Duke of Edinburgh, and we used to have wonderful fun racing up and down here at weekends, We‘d do all sorts of things."

Andrew described a childhood memory when, like any other parent, the Queen picked him up when he came off his tricycle while playing at Windsor Castle. "Yes, she used to pick us up and she‘d say ‘don‘t be so silly, there‘s nothing wrong with you, go and wash it off‘. Like any parent, there‘s nothing wrong with you, go and clean up." He went on to describe how the family including the Queen would sit together and watch early evening television. "It was usually at tea time and we used to watch Grandstand on Saturdays and in the summer, gosh I can‘t remember what it was, it was a Sunday cricket league we always used to watch."
在王子的眼里，女王是一个“完美的母亲和超凡的君主”，“她与英国有关系，与大不列颠联合王国的每一个人都有关系”。
Commenting on the Queen‘s image he added: "She is seen as consistent, she‘s always been there, she‘s always there and a part of the United Kingdom and that‘s what‘s so enduring about her. She has a relationship with Britain, she has a relationship with every single individual person in the United Kingdom."
